Asheville Community Band - Home

Welcome to the web home of the Asheville Community Band, the city's oldest community wind band now in their 32nd season of making beautiful music together! We're glad you've stopped by. The band members are currently in rehearsals for their upcoming Spring and Summer concerts.

The band is especially excited about being one of the invited ensembles to perform for the national American School Band Directors Association convention to be hosted in our lovely mountain city in June. Mark your calendars now for our Spring Concert and Scholarship awards program which will be Sunday, March 25, at 3PM in the Asheville High School Auditorium. The program features music to delight audiences of all ages including marches, chorales, and Irish Aire, hymns, and a musical postcard of New York City: Metroplex, by Robert Sheldon. This year's scholarship winners will also be recognized during the program. We hope you'll join us!
